“I want to make it easy for people to try new wines. Whether you’re
a beginner, or just need a bit of a refresher, our in-store wine experts
can teach you how to buy, store and taste wine. And if you get a
chance, go to NOWFE. The events offer a great way to sample a
selection of wines, and learn what styles and regions you prefer. I’ll
see you at the Stroll!”

Markham Vineyards
One of Napa’s first four wineries,
Markham now has over 350 acres. The
winemaker, Kimberlee Nicholls, selects
grapes from their Yountville and Oak
Knoll vineyards, and Calistoga and
Trubody ranches to give the wines balance
and richness. Markham specializes in
Merlot, but their Cabernet, Chardonnay
and Sauvignon Blanc are all quality.
