I wanted to pass along what a great ambas-
sador Chef Alison is for Rouses and Louisi-
ana. I recently relocated to the area and my
brother and his son came for the festival.
They were doubtful of trying the crawfish,
but Chef Alison gave them the lesson of
how to eat the crawfish. We quickly made
our way to a family platter and later to the
Rouses in Mandeville for some hot from
the pot! Thank you for being at the FQF
and bringing Chef Alison!

Aside from the quality products, employ-
ees such as Allison at the Baronne St. in
New Orleans exudes the professionalism
and creativity that enhances the customer
experience. On my visits to the Baronne
St store, Allison’s brilliant personality and
meal creations keep me and my friends re-
turning.

Greetings from Atlanta. Chef Allison is by
far the greatest cook New Orleans has and
I know the city has some great cooks. He
made us some food that was so amazing, I
can’t wait until my return to New Orleans
for Essence Festival and Mardi Gras 2014.

Just a quick email to comment on the en-
joyable shopping experience that I had at
Rouses Market #46. While all of the staff
are extremely well mannered, helpful and
friendly, I especially appreciated the atten-
tive service provided by a gentleman there
named Allison. He really went out of his
way to ensure that each customer was com-
pletely satisfied.

Our team members put up St. Joseph
Altars in four of our stores this year.
Just beautiful! My family (the older gen-
eration) always had one in someone’s home.

We’re very proud of the veterans who
work in our stores and have given so
much of themselves for our country.
Brian Robertson is our assistant grocery
director at our Mandeville store on East
Causeway Approach. Brian was in the
Marines for eight years and says, “My
country is the best country in the world.
It’s an honor to be an American and it
was an honor to serve my country.”
Memorial Day is set aside to honor
the men and women who sacrificed
their lives for our great country. Join us
in paying tribute our veterans and the
men and women who died in service.

Rouses 4th Generation.
